As you type the system will auto-complete your entry, simply click on the website you want to analyse. If it does not come up in the list then we have no information on that domain (contact us).
It will default to the primary domain and country for the project that is selected in the 'project dropdown'. Simply use the 'x' icon next to the domain to delete this if need be.
N/B: Take care to select the correct www or non-www version of the website. We often have data for both in instances where sites have both versions ranking (not best practice!).
4. Data is calculated as you add multiple domains
5. To change country, simply select the country you are interested in from the dropdown list and press 'search'
6. You can remove domains if you accidentally add the wrong one
e.g. I incorrectly selected 'searchenginewatch.com' instead of 'www.searchenginewatch.com', so I clicked on 'x' to remove it from the analysis
7. The first chart you see compares the 'Number Of Keywords' ranking in Google in the selected country and language for the period selected
If you select a different date period then this data will change - but you can easily see this view over time on the 'Overview' line chart further down the page.
8. The second chart you see compares the 'Number Of Pages' ranking in Google in the selected country and language for the period selected
If you select a different date period then this data will change - but you can easily see this view over time on the 'Overview' line chart further down the page.

This is a metric that compares how visible a domain is and uses industry standard click-thru rates multipled by search volume for every keyword.
If you select a different date period then this data will change - but you can easily see this view over time on the 'Overview' line chart further down the page.
10. The first chart on the second row allows you to compare the 'Visibility Share%' in Google in the selected country and language for the period selected
This takes each domain's 'Visibility Index' over the total 'Visibility Index' for the whole market.
If you select a different date period then this data will change - but you can easily see this view over time on the 'Overview' line chart further down the page.
11. The second chart on the second row simply shows you what percentage of keywords generate important Universal SERP features
This is helpful in assessing which SERP features are prominent in a niche and how this changes over time.
e.g. Unsurprisingly, 100% of keywords generate organic results, but Shopping ads feature for 78.8% of keywords.
12. Clicking on the 'Overview' tab shows a line chart where you can plot the key metric you are intested in
13. This defaults to 'Visibility Index'. Click the icon to the top right-hand side of the chart to select alternative metrics
You can also select a longer date period (up to 13 months so you can do year-on-year comparisons) using the date filter at the top of the page.
14. This chart shows 'Visibility Index' over time. You can click on the website name in the legend to hide it from the chart
15. Click on Ranking URLs to see a table of the ranking pages for all selected sites
16. The table is sorted by 'Visibility Index' so you can see the most important pages first
Click on any other column to sort by that column.
17. Click on the 'settings' icon to hide specific metrics or download the data to .csv
18. Tip: You can click on any website at the top of the page to temporarily remove it from the analysis
Clicking on a domain will grey it out. Clicking on it again will add it back to the analysis.
Clicking the 'x' will remove it completely from the analysis. If you do this by accident, then you will have to search for it again.
19. You can also use the filter to refine the keyword set and give you summary metrics for one keyword or a group of keywords
20. e.g. Type "seo" and click 'Apply' and all the widgets will update
21. Finally, click on the 'Ranking Keywords' tab to see all ranking keywords for all sites
22. You can sort the table and filter it using the in-column filters
e.g. Click on Universal Results and then select a SERP feature to show all keywords that generate this feature. e.g. Featured Snippets.
23. Click on Average Search Volume to sort the keywords to find the head terms of most value
